The Nostalgia series takes inspiration from old, touching on olden day advertising from a forgone era, that plays into the memories of our creative director’s family.
Growing up between London and Nigeria visual from food product in the family home stood out to our creative director and how they differ from his home in London and that of the home in Nigeria. But also found that their was commonality in how they were presented.
The woven Demi Jeans takes inspiration from one of the oldest crafts in history, dating back to at least 12,000 years ago during the Neolithic era in Africa . Before weaving became solely a textile craft , early humans weaved branches, twigs and other plant fibers to create threads for building homes, baskets and other necessary objects of utility.
